A sampling of the photographs in the book and exhibit entitled "Mexico 1953" by Roger Hagan. The book includes 160 photographs, from which the selections can be drawn to make a large or small exhibit. The exhibition prints are from 12 to 18 inches on a side, matted in 20x20 and 18x24 inch window mattes. Note that this sampling begins at the bottom, in blog style.

Did photography from 1948 on. But after working as a magazine writer and editor for a while, and working in broadcasting, I made documentaries and industrial films, using my photographic knowledge with motion picture cameras. In retirement I am back to the still cameras and happily, because those images I can put on a wall or in a book, and sell the occasional print. Had two print exhibitions, one in Mexico and one in Seattle, using black-and-white images from the 1950s. Is photography art? You tell me. It sure is satisfying.
